too bad you didnt live near me! my friend put a shitload of $into his 85 RS eng. to try and out run my 66 GT350;he should have kept his money or spent more! though it is a fast car now;i bought it when he moved, after he couldnt even get a bid on it at an unreserved auction 12 yrs ago (with orig paint no less!) so i bought it cheap, just put 6K into paint and such (though it wasnt necessary)'bout 8 yrs ago i tried to sell for 3500 and couldnt even get that! orig paint. low 70k miles..go figure

Yes there is...both Turbo 4cyl and 5.0L. The first year for the RS was 1979...I've owned 12 fox body Capri's, my first was a '79

Not too bad, 6.60's in the 1/8 mile, which was exactly what my performance target was. Much quicker than that, and I'll have to do some more chassis upgrades to get it to be consistent enough to do any good bracket racing.

That's a nice garage to work in. Car sounds great, how does she goes outside?

Very nice Capri, sounds viscous!

No such thing as an 82 RS Capri. RS's had the front air dam (84-86)
