Well at 2.7p per mile, and 0-60 in 3.8 seconds, it is kinda tempting :)
I love that electric car makers have woken up to the fact no one will like them until they out perform the best of petrol...
Just looking into the stats, there's no way petrol can keep up with what's coming... no physical gearbox (wheel drive), 96% efficient motors, massive torque from start... full charge in 10 mins (British Lightning tech) it's the end for petrol within 10 years I reckon...

thats only because we have grown and been conditioned to love large, powerful and gas belching cars. We also love the way gas smells.

Let say it is electric. Electric engine has brutal torq from basicaly 0 rpm. So it coul start better than Ferrari or Porsche. But, who wants car which sound like blasted vacum cleaner???

he's gutted an atom and put in an electric motor, have a look at the arse end again, I think its not bad, but i would prfer a propper supercharged atom. |
