damn im glad u did that yourself, whatever you do dont go to a shop to get that fixed. Mine in my 94 camaro blew out, they charged 1000 dollars for labor!!!

the rubber one are not really freeze plugs I dont think they will come out if the block actually freezes
I think those are more for temporary use only
if your not in the cold weather you should be ok but I would get a brass one installed

I'm well aware of that. I just wanted to know your opinion, because about 10 months ago I had a remanufactured engine installed in my truck. 500 miles later I bring it back because the freeze plug and oil sending unit was leaking. Last month while I was replacing the shocks, I saw a rubber expansion plug just as plain as day. What annoys me the most is that I was never informed.

an expansion plug is also called a freeze plug there smarty
